20 minute workouts that will kick your metabolism into high gear, and have you feeling bikini ready for summertime!
Are you the type of person who finds yourself saying you don’t have enough time to workout? Or maybe you just feel so mentally and physically drained after your day that the thought of working out simply does not appeal to you.
But, you’re also the person who wants to get healthier. Who wants to get into shape…the shape that matches you and your goals, not the ideal standard that’s been set by everyone else.
You find yourself in this constant conundrum of wanting to workout, but simply being too tired or busy to do so.
Then you spend the rest of the summer covered up because you don’t feel comfortable in your own skin. You wished you would have put in just a little bit of effort to reach your “ready for summer” goal.
I think I finally have a solution for you girlfriend!
20 Minute Workouts to Shed the Pounds
You have to want it
Okay, first things first here, before we even jump into the workouts themselves.
You have to want this. And I mean absolutely, no doubt in your mind, nothing is going to get in your way, want this.
When you set a goal for yourself that’s a nonnegotiable, you’ll do everything in your power to make it happen.
In the moments when you’re too tired, or too busy, if this is something you absolutely want, then you will find energy and time to do it.
The great part is that these workouts are only 20 minutes. Wake up in the morning 25 minutes early and get it done. Do a 20 minute workout over lunch. Take 20 minutes during nap time to get a workout in. Use the 20 minutes before dinner to sneak in a quick sweat sesh.
No matter where or how you find the time, you have to make the time to do something incredible for yourself, your health and your body.
6 weeks and 20 minutes to bikini ready
Now that we have the absolute want out of the way {seriously, this may be the most important step}, you have to actually put in the work.
This specific program is six weeks long, 20 minutes a day, six days a week.
It’s a HIIT style workout, meaning it has some high intensity intervals that will really push you to your limits.
It’s all bodyweight based, so no equipment is necessary. There is a step {yes, like those aerobic steps from the 80’s}, but it’s not a necessity.
I don’t want these 20 minute workouts to scare away those who think they’re not advanced, or maybe not quite HIIT ready.
The thing is, you can modify as much as you need to with this workout. The instructor will push you each week, but you can definitely go at your own pace. That’s what I did for the first five weeks as we were preparing for IVF.
Only have 5-10 minutes of stamina? That’s totally fine! You’re doing something good for your body every day. By doing so, you’re working up your endurance to get to 20 minutes a day.
It doesn’t have to be much, but some movement is absolutely better than nothing.
20 minute workouts and mindset work
I think the thing I love the most is that this program is broken out into three different phases: Commit, Climb, Conquer.
During the first phase {first two weeks}, you’re making a commitment to yourself and to the workouts. You may start to doubt yourself, whether or not you can actually complete the program. But you have to come back to that commitment every single time to remember why you’re doing what you’re doing.
The second phase {second two weeks} focuses on climbing. You’ve now made a commitment to yourself, and you’re likely starting to see some small changes here and there. The instructor focuses on getting you to go past your comfort zone and use your mind and body to climb to the next level.
Last but not least is the conquer phase. This is the moment where you really start to shine. Where you start to see all your hard work pay off. Your mind is resilient, and so is your body.
Make it work for you
Bikini ready means many things to many women. Honestly, when you feel comfortable in your own skin, that’s your moment to shine, and when you’ll be feeling ready to rock any summer outfit you choose.
Make these workouts work for you. Finding strength in your body and in your mind is what’s seriously going to propel you to the next level of your health and fitness journey.
If you’re ready to give it a chance, let’s chat.
I’ll be here for you throughout the entire six week process, and beyond, when you start this program.
It’s honestly made the biggest difference in my body composition and my mindset when it comes to what strength means to me.
So if you’re ready {and really ready}, I’m here for you!
