The Healthy Living Journal helps to take you from a diet-centered mindset to a mindful living mindset. If you’re tired of thinking of food as a calorie, macro or point and want to start eating for you, then this journal is for you.

Are you tired of thinking of food as a value? How many calories was that container of yogurt? How many points did I just eat with that handful of crackers? Does this banana fit into my macros for the day?

Whatever system you’re using, there’s an easier way to live your life and learn to love food again.

You may be saying, “but I do love food! I love it so much that I need to count and measure everything I eat so that I don’t gain too much weight!”

But I’m here to tell you that there is an easier way. A way where you won’t need to count calories, macros or points. Where you won’t have to weigh or measure every last piece of food you plan to eat during the day. And you can still maintain a healthy bodyweight.

This probably sounds too good to be true {shaking your head?}. Trust me, I used to be the one shaking my head. I was in that same mentality for such a long time. Five years to be exact.

I spent the majority of that time on Weight Watchers. I’m pretty sure I could tell you off the top of my head how many points a 1/2 cup of cottage cheese was, or how many points a handful of baked crackers was. Food became a point, rather than fuel.

But then a friend of mine introduced me to mindful eating. A really scary topic when tracking food had become so ingrained in my everyday eating.

Mindful eating is the practice of listening to your body’s cues of when you’re hungry, and what you’re craving. You eat what you want, when you want. And enjoying that food as fuel, and not as a value. Then when your body starts to tell you you’re full, you stop eating.

Sounds pretty simple, right? Well for those of us who follow a diet driven lifestyle, this is a pretty difficult concept to wrap our minds around.

That’s what the Healthy Living Journal is here to help with. It explains, more in-depth, what mindful eating is all about. The journal helps you to become more in tune with your body, cravings and eating. It helps you to really think about food as fuel, and no longer as a value. It will help you to take the guilt out of eating. There are no longer “good” or “bad” foods, there’s just food.

In the Healthy Living Journal you’ll find:

  • A four week re-printable journal {multiple colors available}
    • Including daily pages for tracking what you eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert {no calories, macros, points or amounts}
    • A section for how you felt after eating those meals
    • Spots to track water intake and fruits and veggies
    • Plus exercise
  • Information on how to practice mindful eating and living
  • Monthly and weekly intentions/goals pages so you can track your progress each month and week
  • Weekly motivational quotes
  • Weekly motivational emails to encourage you along this Healthy Living Lifestyle journey

This will not be an overnight change. It will take time and practice to remove that diet-centered mindset and switch to a mindful living mindset. So feel free to re-print your journal and continue well past the initial four weeks.
