Strawberry basil rosé frozen yogurt is a delicious and easy, no-churn frozen yogurt that's bursting with the flavors of summer-time. With a mix of fresh strawberries, fresh basil and the unofficial summertime drink: rosé, you can enjoy this five minute dessert on a hot summer day.
2cupsfresh strawberrieshulled, divided
¼cuploosely packed fresh basil leaves*
2cupsplain whole milk Greek yogurt
1cupfrozen banana slices
¼cuppure maple syrup
½cupnonfat dry milk powder
place all ingredients, except for 1 cup of strawberries, in the bowl of a food processor.
Blend until smooth.
Chop the remaining cup of strawberries and stir into the yogurt mixture.
Pour into a large glass bowl and cover. Place in the freezer for 5-6 hours, or overnight.
When ready to eat, remove from the freezer and let thaw for 5-10 minutes.
*Start out using less basil and build to create a more intense flavor.
*This will not have the same consistency as ice cream, but will be a delicious frozen yogurt treat.
